"Proclaiming the Light of Jesus"
PAST
Established in 1771, we are the oldest Baptist Church in Wake County, NC. Our current building on New Light Road was built in the 1980's.
PRESENT
We as a church are members of the Southern Baptist Convention. We are affiliated locally with the Raleigh Baptist Association. We are a small congregation with a membership of about 40-50 people, pastored by Dr. Michael O. Jones. We have 3 services a week , as well as other ministries and activities for all ages.
FUTURE
Our congregation is constantly growing in the area of community missions. We seek to increase God's kingdom through sharing the gospel message. We strive to be the light of Christ to all people.
